Can I assume that if the cabin heater switch is OFF (vacuum activated heater control valve), the leak will stop when the heater core is empty? (I live in FL so no heat is not a problem). Thanks.
It wont stop leaking because one hose is straight to the engine. Only one has the control valve.
At least yours is just leaking. Mine blew out this summer and dumped all the coolant in my carpet.
