Anyone had the opportunity to replace the plastic (weatherstrip) on the front edge of the rear quarter glass?? I've taken one apart and I kinda knew that the strip was in bad shape and was trying to find a replacement before putting the window back into it's frame......can anyone help in pointing me in the right direction as to where I can find these or someone that makes something similar to replace the old ones??

I think the part numbers are: R=2965638.......L=2965639

Here's what the look like if I didn't explain it too good......

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if they will work or not........

I ended up making my own after studing the situation for a few days.
I think they will be better than the OEM ones and of course they were much cheaper than the ones on ebay.
You can view what I made at:

I think I should patent mine......LOL.

Thanks.

Yeah......I told my body shop guy yesterday that I think I might have to go into manufacturing these as a side line job. The concept seems to look and work alright but the test will be their service and time. But I think that the materials used should at least outlast the plastic ones that came on them originally but who knows.
