yes, the duster is very solid..just a couple small rust spots to deal with..im currently still gathering parts and hoping to get started on it soon..since the roof has issues from the vinyl roof that was on it, I decided im gonna shave the drip rails and graft a roof section from a newer bmw, this will add a power moon/sunroof..this will also add the interior dome light and make the interior a little more modern looking..im going for a old school look on body with minor changes and the interior look of a newer car..

It looks like JF1 paint on the car. Would need to verify that on the Fender Tag...If it is, you have a rare 1-year only color.... My research and talking with multiple people on and off the net points to only around 300 Dusters coming in that color for the year. I'm gathering up parts to start restoring a 73 Duster 340 JF1 car with the V21 performance hood treatment.

yes, it is a jf1 color car..was only a one year color..i thought about putting back to jf1, if it was a original 340 car, I would. since its a 6 cylinder car and no real special options, im gonna upgrade to a more modern look.

many hours scrapping is a understatement:violent1: It it well worth it in the end. Looks like a solid starter

well, I finally had a chance to get started on the duster..got the interior stripped down to the floor..the person I purchased car from told me someone added a floor shifter, cool I thought..until I got the carpet out, it must have been one helluva shifter..the hole is huge..rest of floor pan is good, gonna patch the tunnel and get the floor in primer..the rust spot beside the tunnel is from where someone put the cowl drain behind the tunnel..why? I do not know..
