After doing some looking. I need to see if the mounting of the duster steering column. Would be as follows...two studs in front...three plastic inserts Rosette. washers. Driver side stud gets A Rosette washer then a washer nut...passenger side stud gets A rosette washer, Sairated nut then ground wire then another Sairated nut. Last one gets a Rosette washer and a bolt...

3 Serrated nuts 3 rosette washers one bolt. you have the order correct you just need to get rid of the nut with the washer and replace it with a serrated nut.

OK ty...the kits you can buy have two serrated nuts and one nut that has a built on washer...I didn't know where it went..

In this picture In the upper right corner it shows a bolt and washer and a shim.... What is the shim used for?

When installing the column there are times you need to shim it so the shaft is in the center with no pressure On the center bearing. Not all columns have the lower bearing and not all columns have the shim..

From the factory they have 3 serrated nuts . They must give you the washer style for the ground wire. All the cars I stripped over the years had a serrated nut holding the ground. Usually when you go to take it off the stud comes out with it so you have to take the 5/16 bolt off first so the wire can spin out with the stud and the two nuts.

I have some here with the wire still on the stud between the two nits. Use the nut with the washer for the ground. I don't see what it will hurt. But that is not how they came . 3 serrated nuts is factory on every car I took apart.
