73 power floor column fit a 70 manual car?

My Dad just bought a 73 power steering floorshift column, will it fit 1970 manual car? Or vice versa?

If your car has manual steering the p/s column will not fit.

What's different about them?

The main shaft that goes thru the column is different length. You could use the collars off the floor shift column and put them on your existing column.
