What is the difference between Dodge and Plymouth fenders for 73-6? I have a few fenders and all are the same as what is on my 73 Scamp. I don't have a 73-up Dart to compare with. Is the nose different?
Many thanks peeps.

One difference is the Dart headlight bezel goes over the end of the fender, and the Valiant/Dumpster bezel is inset.

So the fender themselves are the same? I thought Dart was flatter on the nose where Plymouth has a bit of a point?

I believe you can use the fenders, but you have to use the hood and the header panel as well. They're different

The dusters are rounded off at the headlights the darts are square and the bezel sets flat against it.
They will work on a dart but you would have to us a scamp/duster hood and grille too.

The most obvious is the wheel opening shape and lip design. Next is the different placement of side marker light. I also see that the Duster fender uses a filler panel between the grille and bumper. The Dart does not use a filler panel.

They’re totally different lengths too. The Dart fenders are a couple inches longer than the Duster/Valiant fenders.

You can see this with the hood when I swapped on the ‘71 Dart hood as part of my Demon clone job for my ‘74 Duster

Now, the ‘70-72 Dart fenders use a fender extension that bolts on. The 73+ Dart fenders are a single piece, the part that was a fender extension on the ‘70-‘72 fenders is just part of the fender on the ‘73+ fenders. Similar to the ‘67-69 Dart fenders actually, and people have used the 73+ fenders and converted them for ‘67-‘69 use. Not so much anymore since you can buy repro’s now.
