73 up swingers painted roof?

Want to see some pics of people who painted the roofs on swingers a different color from the body, Im thinking of shooting the roof of my sublime 74 swinger black to make it look like a vinyl top.
 
Do you plan on painting the chrome? It helps breaks up the two colors instead of looking like a taped off painted part. Just my .02
 
The factory used the vinyl top trim on two tone dusters.
 
You could lay down a 1/4-3/8" vinyl strip or tape out and pinstripe to separate the two. Neutral colors help break up hard transitions like that. It's a little more work but it would look cool.
 
I think the chrome trim is going to be the easiest thing to do to separate the two colors. And, if the goal is for the painted top to mimic a vinyl roof, it would look more like it if it had the chrome.
