what is the compression height for stock 1974 318 pistons?

They have a chart for that in the "How to Rebuild Your Small Block Mopar" early edition books. The later books don't have that info.

The compression is greatly affected by the piston dome height and the size of the combustion chamber in the head.
I have run through the compression calculations for the numbers listed in the service manual and they don't match up. There is some "fudging" somewhere. I use the stock configuration as the baseline and then adjust for the parts that are changed/different.
