i have one in my 72 Charger SE. what kinda hp and torque did these motors have?? im runnin on 7 cylinders. got 2 bent pushrods. im gonna rebuilt it and cam the **** out of it. but what hp and stuff did they have???? thanks

Between 225 -245 h.p. and 340-360 ft.lbs. torque @3200 r.p.m. stock.
The big killer then was the compression ratio which was only 8.2 to 1.

well im actually not sure its a 74 block now. its in my 72 Charger and the exhaust manifolds are on so i cant get to the number on the side to see what it is. the heads are 74 and the intake is a 68. so im not sure what block it could be as far as year

hell i have a 74 440 and it had a 69 intake on it.
could be a 74 or it could be earlier.
the walls on the 74 440s are supposed to the thickest with the exception of the cold weather 440s.
good like finding one of those. they only cast them for 8 months.
