'74-76 Scamp/Swinger taillight seals

Hey guys:

I just picked up a clean '74, and it's leaking water around the taillights into the trunk, and might even be leaking into the lights themselves.

It's caused some rust, so I'd like to reseal those things SOON. What are my options?

RTV sealant, butyl screen door tape, hobby store foam cut to size and rtv'd together.
