1974 Dart Sport front wheel opening mouldings.

Here are some photos of what we had to go through to get the missing rear quarter mouldings for a 67 Coronet. Could not find replacements new or used. People at the swap meets laughed and said good luck.

Fortunately 1974 Dart Sport front mouldings had somewhat close to the correct shape and had enough length on both ends so we could trim them to fit. The price of the coronet mouldings if you could find them . . open your wallet . . starts at 500 for the pair, but you can't even find them. $60 each for the Dart Sport mouldings shipped in, so yes now we have something we can work with at a good price.

Here Goes . . .

Carefully first bend around paint can to get somewhat close.
New mouldings are aluminum, so they are soft.

Done, lots of delicate care to keep from screwing things up . . .

Those are some of the best looking mopars ever made. 67 Coronet and Satilite. Love em. Nice work also.

That 67 Coronet belongs to my cousin who bought it when he was in his 20s, he is like 52 now. Life got busy for him, raised a family, car was stored at the family farm for many years. 5 years ago he and a buddy went through the whole car. Just helping him finish up the restyling work with new wheels and tires and setting up the "Stance" so it looks great.
