74 dart sport shackles

my 74 Dodge Dart sport needs new shackles. I bought a used pretty nice set on eBay. I wanna tackle this project this weekend. When looking at my shackle it appears as tho the top bolt is in backwards? Just wondering how u get it out as there doesn't appear to be enough clearance to slide it out. Thanks

They have studs on them and a nut on the other side. Both nuts face the same side, can only fit one way. Sometimes its easier to unbolt the bracket from the frame, install shackles and then bolt the brackets back in place.

Hopefully your replacing the bushings too.
