I am trying to figure out why I can't seem to get the running lights in the
front and also the front turn signal lights to work. When I put on the
four ways they will flash. The bulbs are all good and the fuses are OK.
I don't have any fender turn signal lights hooked up yet either.I don't
know if that would affect anything. All the rear lights work fine and
the front marker lights work OK. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks
Tom

Check the connector at the base of the steering column that comes from the turn signal switch, check the turn signal switch (unlikely) and the bulkhead connector.

My guess is the connector from the turn signal switch.

If it was the bulkhead connector, then the 4 ways would not light in the front.

If it was the headlight switch, the running lights in the rear would not work.

If it was the turn signal switch, the directionals would not work in the rear.

Last (obvious) spot is the connector in the steering column. There is a wire that goes to the "body" harness and that carries current to the rear - that appears to be working. There is another that goes to the bulkhead connector and then to the front lamp harness. Since the 4 way works, it is likely the connector or (remotely) the turn signal switch.

Hope that helps!

There is a yellow wire and a black wire hanging under the steering column
that I don't know what there for.maybe that is my issue.Any ideas how I
can figure out where they go.The number on the yellow wire is 3747114.
does anyone have the wiring diagram that I can download?

Thanks
Tom
