74 Duster carpet question

This may seem like a silly question ,but could a 74 Duster be ordered without carpet just a mat?

I have seen them with rubber flooring instead of carpet from the factory. Low option models.

First one I ever saw was a 69 340 Swinger.
I liked it.
You can get it, just have to tell the order person you want the mat, not the carpet set.

My 69 340 4 spd had a dark blue mat instead of carpet. 1971 was the last year I have seen a mat in an a-body. It was a Sassy grass green Duster /6 auto bench seat.

That’s what I figured. By the mid 70s and beyond there were less choices. I always heard stories from the 60’s about guys deleting unnecessary weight

Low end model $ cars NEW back then could come cheap, just like a base pickup could (would). No carpet. No nothing, no heater, no radio. No AC. No ps or pb. No disc brakes. The smallest six ever made! Life could be simple and basic back then. and less expensive.
