74 Duster Fender

Thank you so much for the info on the scamp fender for my sons Dart. Glad it fits but its a three hour drive from us may have found something closer but not sure if it fits. Son has a 72 Duster and I found a 74 Duster fender will they match up.

They will bolt up, but...
The '74 fender will not have a bracket on the front inside, above the headlight bucket. It is simple enough to fab one and weld it in if you have the old one to use as a guide. In the alternative, it would be the mirror image of the left fender. The bracket holds the fairly flat metal piece that rests on top of the grill.

Also where the fender bolts to the core support is different. It is enough different to require a little work to make it fit right. I was gonna use 74 fenders on my 72 as well I was just gonna swap the headlight area, it is alot of work but it would look right in my eyes. If you need the little support tab I have it from a set of 72 fenders that I had.
