Got it loaded up today, most of it will be put to use between mine and some buddy's projects. Tail panel isn't great @Mr. Sinister

Got it inside today and finished getting all the interior plastics and whatnot out then cut the windows out of it. Go figure the C pillar plastics cracked so I'll have to put them back together.

Got most of the floor cut out of it today, have some small pieces to trim off tomorrow then rust-mort time.

Got the floor pan cut out, AMD pan test fit then sprayed some weld through primer down and got the pan welded in. Also removed the roof skin then wire wheeled the inner structure inside and out. Next up is roof skin and driver side drip rail install.

Got the welds ground down then hit with a little paint, also got the stripes sanded off the sides.

Lookin good! Did you have to fiddle with the pinch weld of the floor pan where it meets the firewall? I've bought an AMD floor pan to put in my 70 Duster, but haven't messed with it yet.

I didn't wanna fight it or pull the engine so it got flattened out and welded over top of the firewall on the inside.

Got the skin drilled off the donor top, how many spot welds hold it on you may ask? 148 roughly for just the skin, still working on the driver side drip rail lol. Also got the center support straightened back out and started getting the old skin off around the windows.

Finally got the drip rail drilled off the donor and the original removed then cleaned everything up and hit it with some black paint and weld through primer. Next step is to get it all welded back together and fit the roof skin.

Got the drip rail welded in, painted the inner structure then laid some weld through primer down and fitted the roof skin. May try to start welding it back on tomorrow.

looking good. did you lay any sealer/adhesive on the inner frame before dropping the roof skin in place? much easier than after it's welded.
neil.
Yes, once the skin was fitted it got removed once more to lay down seam sealer.

Got everything ready to begin pulling or welding up unneeded holes. Getting closer to primer time, slowly lol
