I keep seeing these three cars on Craigslist, they are not mine. The prices were around 1500, now it looks like they are down to around 650. Thought someone might be interested, I can' imagine these are going to get much cheaper, and I would hate to see them scrapped. They also have some old 40's Plymouths and other cars listed.

These are in Topeka, KS and are not my cars. Someone go buy them before I do. :)

All the cars these guys have listed on Craigslist have sideways pictures. None have any info about the cars either. I'm guessing these guys are not tech people.

These guys also have some adds for Derby cars, so I hope that isn't the fate of any of these mopars.

If I had a house with a garage I would go buy all 3 cars just to keep them out of the crusher, but I'm working on buying a house right now. I also keep seeing adds for a 66 and 68 440's on Craigslist Topeka for 300 bucks each if anyone is looking for one.

Those cars are beyond rough. The pics do them more justice than they are worth. They are at an auto recycler in north Topeka. The 70 Duster has been wrecked in the driver's front and is extremely rusty in the rear quarters. The only thing I saw worth any value was a good tail panel with taillights still in it and a decklid. Slant 6 auto car with enough rats nest under the hood to barely see the engine. The '74 Duster does have a fold down rear seat setup. I didn't look very closely at it or the Scamp but I've bought a lot nicer cars than these for a lot less money. In my opinion they're worth about scrap price right now. $250-$300 cash and they'd probably be yours.

I figured they would probably be rust buckets. Maybe someone can grab some parts off of them.

cascius, Have you by chance looked at or spoken to the guy on CL with the 440's? I could be interested in buying one of those, but I have no experience with them.

they looked ok from the sideways pics. some good parts. too bad they are rusty

Yeah, the goofy pics and strategic photo angles are what drew me in to look at them. I was thinking that If the '70 was straight I'd scratch converting my '74 and buy a solid car. It could be saved if someone wanted to put forth the time and money but definitely not for the money he's asking. It's got a lot more rust than the pics let you see. Supposedly all have titles though so that may get someone somewhere if they've got a donor without a title.
