741 pinion nut torque too tight- did i damage it

-
The rear chunk/ pumpkin is a 741 case and I took the yoke off of another 741 case. Both pumpkins are setup from the factory both had between 50-65 thousand miles on them. The pumpkin. I am having issues with has the right set of gears(3.23) in it. My spare pumpkin is highway gears. I am wondering if Cass was right that maybe it was a little loose and it washed the spacers then when I put 300# on it with the electric impact I took up that washed space.

Forgot to add even when I put the original yoke on it and torque it to only 50 # it won't turn easily. 100# and it won't turn at all. I will try to remove the dust shield

Just an update that I have take the dust collar off and so far I made it to 100# before I ran out of time. No rubbing or binding. Will try and go to 150# tonight. That's all my torque wrench will go to.
