I have a chance to purchase a running 75 440 and 727 what would be a good price? Its running is all I know..
 
Although you can build a '75 440 into a helluva runner, it's got a cast crank and it's not one of the desirable years such as the steel crank 440s '67-'73.
Given that, I say it's worth at least $500 running and with a 727.
 
Thanks, I am probably just going to keep the block and scrap the rest. I will keep the 727 as a spare.
 
This is a deal I kinda stumbled on to $200 for both. I live in Oklahoma and have good friends that take care of me. I bought my date 67 440 for $100.00 the crank needed nothing one cylinder needed .020 so we took all 8 to .030 and put some TRWs on the LY rods. Old school!! But I am going Stealths roller cam and Harland Sharp rockers because I landed a Steal of a deal on them brand new!! Going Single plain and 850 man holley. Should be a nice street ride.
