79 Power Wagon Wont start???

If My Power Wagon ( 1979 318 2bbl stock original) sits for 2 or three days without starting it is impossible to get it started without pouring some gas down the carb.Other than that it starts and runs great..Where do I start??? Thanks
 
Fuel Pump is bleeding off. I would try replacing the fuel pump.
 
weak fuel pump? choke ? i would start right at the fuel system and carb. fuel filter....lol 75 you beat me to it
 
I have had accelerator pumps do the same thing before, first start of the day had to prime then after that would start all day long
 
If the new fuel pump doesnt solve it, check to make sure that the fuel isn't draining out of the carb while it is sitting by stroking the accelerator pump and make sure that it is squirting gas before starting it up.
