Found a 440 with 6-71 Littlefield blower less than 15 minutes from house for sale, currently in a '73 Cuda prostreet car.

Tis is what I've been able to get from the current owner so far for specs:

Engine has edelbrock performer carbs
30 Over bore
Speed Pro Hypereutectic pistons
Rod's resized
Clevite 77 Main, rod, cam bearings
Crankshaft turned 10/10
Competition Magnum cam and lifters
Grind= CRB 270H-10 Duration .270 Lift .470
906 Heads....reworked
Fel-pro gaskets....throughout
Cloyes Timing set 3 key ways
Compression ration 8.8:1

Went to check it out, starts up immediately, idles smooth and stable, wraps up pretty quick with throttle. Unfortunately it was already late in the evening so I didn't get to crawl around it to much. Took two crappy cell pics, the lighting in garage could have been better.

Trying to decide if this is a good deal or not. Eventual home would be a '74 Dart Swinger

Sounds like more of a show engine with the hyper pistons and stock rods, not much $$$ in the engine!! sounds a little high to me but if you can get it lower and you go for a nice long cruise and see no leaks or smoking it should be good.

Gonna try and talk the owner into taking it out in a few weeks for a drive. Got some more info today, it was basically built to goto shows / local cruise nights, doesn't do well in traffic, electric WP can't keep up with the TX heat right now.

Not in a big hurry quite yet, getting ready to finish teardown of my car, will see if he'll budge on $$, can always go thru it and freshen it up for more go, less show

talk lower and then rebuild bottom end with better pieces so you can run more and harder
