8 1/4 gear swap ratio difference???

Hey Guys And Gals. Just Purchased from another member. A N.O.S set of from mopar richmond 4.10 ring and pinion never installed !!!!! dated 1973. My Question is. I have a 75 8 1/4 under my 68 dart with a 3.21 gear in it. This Housing originally had a 2.76 gear in it. Will This 4.10 gear fit or will I have to buy another housing ????? Maybe Clearance the inside if needed ?????????

Yes. It will fit. You will most likely need a notched cross shaft for those gears. They're pretty inexpensive though.

You WILL for sure need a noched cross shaft! I cheated & went to the grinder & ground off just enough to clear the ring gear. if you do it that way take account in for where the lock pin goes in! Grind in the wrong spot & the axle end play will be waaaay to much!
