8 1/4 rear axle with sbp?

I have a Dart 63 with a 65 273 and a 76 904. I've had the car for almost three years and have always believed that it has a 7 1/4 rear axle. Yesterday I checked and compared with the picture below. I'm 90% sure that I have an 8 1/4, 100% sure that it has sbp, 5 x 4 ".
Can this be true, 8 1/4 and sbp?

Nope.

No 8 1/4 before 73 and all are BBP.I've had my eyes play tricks on me when looking under the car, sometimes a 7 1/4 can look like the 8 1/4 on just a casual glance. Best check is count the bolts all the way around. 10 bolts on an 8 1/4 and 9 on a 7 1/4.

unless some how ,some way, someone changed out the axles, or re-drilled them for a 4"

You are right and I'm wrong. It's 7 1/4, back to the hunt for an 8 3/4 3.55 Suregrip, the rear axle of my dreams.
Anyone who has an axle for sale?
