[WANTED] 8 1/4 rear end from late model a body

I need a late model 8/1/4 rear with a 3.55 3.73 gear, I was told these would bolt on in place of my 7.25!

If it comes out of a 73 or newer A body yes it will bolt in. You will need The proper U-bolts and shock plates.

Will i need to shorten the drive shaft or will it bolt up to the yokes i have in my 7.25?

You need some for a 8 3/4 which is the most common application. U bolts are 3” wide 7” long. Look here or on EBay.
