8 3/4 rear brake backing plates, 10x2 1/2"?

Before they go on fleabay I thought I would give you guys an opportunity to grab these. They are off the A-body 8 3/4 in my Dart. I believe they are for the BBP setup, cause they sure as hell didn't work real good with the SBP setup I currently have. When I measured the gap between the 1 3/4" shoes I have it was about 3/8" from touching the backing plate,so I am assuming they fit the 10x2 1/2" later model brakes? I paid $60.00 for the pair I picked up,will let these go for $40.00 plus the ride. They are in pretty good shape. Wear on the pads is minimal.

A-body shoes are 10 x 1 7/8"

B & E-body shoes are 10 x 2 1/2"

For rear axles.

It would seem that the 10 x 2 1/2 application would be applicable to an A body. 73-75 Dart Swinger 340.

Good point. However, these are 8 3/4 backing plates which were last available in 72. So, for an 8 3/4" backing plate, the correct rear brake shoe size is 10 x 1 7/8.
