I ran into a problem when I tried to install brakes lines on the 8 3/4 rear just installed in my 65 Signet.
I have a stainless line set from Classic Ind for a 67-69 A body (#YRA6702)
Problem is the passenger line is to short and drivers side is to long.
Called Classic and tech is gonna pull one for 66 to compare to what I have.

Anyone know what my rear is? Do 1970s up have the junction fitting closer to driver's side that 67-69?

Or the 65/66?

Haven't heard back from Classic yet- been very helpful so far

Any thoughts?
thanks in advance, Gib

Which rear, 7 1/4 or 8 1/4 or 8 3/4??? I bet it's the smaller one.

The rear is an 8 3/4 rear- Was in a 65 Barracuda racer I stripped 30 years ago- chances are slim it was a factory 65/66 rear- was 273 2 barrel car- engine was X head 340- with 727.
I thought it was 67- 69 rear- but maybe was 1970-1972???

if not mistaken, 65 8 3/4 are slightly shorter than a 66-70. there are different tee's used at the rear.varying my models and years.. someone can change that tee there also throwing you off. the company could have made a mistake bending it or shipped the wrong one....
or if you are like me, anything can go wrong.... and its hardly noon yet.....

Yes, see the pic below.

Looks like a have a 1970 and up rear- as my driver side is to long and the passenger side is to short- and that is where the junction is on my rear- great picture
Thanks guys-
I'll order the right one------

Mopar guys are the best and A body guys are the best of the best
I appreciate you taking the time to help out a bro....
