I am getting ready to put the 8 3/4 rear end into my 70 swinger 318/904 car. I think i have most everything to put kelsey hayes disc brakes up front and plan on keeping my 14in rallye rims and sbp axles. Are there any affordable disc brake setups out there for the 8 3/4??? Also for anyone that has done this was it worth it??? did you notice a big differance??? Currently i plan on sticking with manual brakes but will go to power brakes if needed. thanks for any info

DoctorDiff has the best kit for 8.75 rear disc brakes. His kit is the only one that I know of that allows you to keep the tapered roller bearings.

One very important item with rear disc brakes is to make sure that you properly balance the size of the rear pistons with the front pistons. If you get that balance wrong the car will either spin or not stop. Most people don't seem to have a clue about this and they just buy random kits for their car.
