8 3/4" Sure-Grip Gear Oil ?s

Hey all,

After checking the level I'd like to add some gear oil to my 8 3/4" 3.23:1 Sure-Grip rear end. I purchased a quart of Valvoline 75W-90 Gear Oil. On the label it says "Limited Slip". Does this mean I do not need any additive for the sure-grip? The 3 guys at the Auto-Zone each had a differing opinion. Attached is the label from the bottle. Any guidance is, as always, appreciated.

Read the back and see if it has the additives in it. If not, take the back, buy a new gasket and drain and refill with royal purple full syn (this stuff as the additives in it already) and you can put tens or thousands of miles on that full syn. I use the full syn in all my cars/trucks.

If it says limited slip it has the additive in it!
