Yes..... another WIW thread. I normally have an idea what things are worth but am a little stumped here. A friend is cleaning out some old parts and asked me to sell these for him....

One used set of aftermarket 5:38 gears for a 742 case in nice shape and a used set of factory 3:23 gears for a 741 case, also in decent shape.

I cant even find 5:38s for sale online to compare.......

And go.

The 5:38's are pretty race specific, and may be a hard sell, but any new gear set is still worth $200! I would put the 3:23's at $100-125, and the 5:38's at $150

IIRC the 5.38's have one more tooth on the pinion than a 5.57 so it's a bit stronger. I'd say the $150.00 quote above is pretty close.

I am one of the few guys not running Stock eliminator who ran gears that steep.

How do I tell what brand the gears are? They have a symbol that resembles a heart on them.
