Got a buddy with a set of 10" brakes off a later model 7.25, will those bolt up to an Abody 8.75 rear end?

Do you think it has to be the later year 7.25 brakes? He thinks these are- I guess the test w/b to see if the holes line up!

Thanks, George

My 7 1/4 brakes were off a 72 Dart with BBP. Fit on a 65 B body 8 3/4 rear. I think it would have to be a BBP 7 1/4 to work.

No such thing as a 72 Dart with big bolt pattern, from the factory.
Would have to be 73-76, to get big bolt pattern on the A body vehicles.

Can you drill the backing plates to convert the 5 hole to 4 or are there some other issues to deal with?

Regards,
Frank

You have that backwards.
You can redrill the 4 hole, to the 5 hole, for the 8 3/4 very easily.

Sorry, don't know about that, just what I had. SBP front - BBP rear :glasses7: When I took it out all I can say is it looked like it had been there for a long time.

I bolted on the BBP 7.25 with 10" brakes on a 8.75 with no issues.
