8.75 capacity etc.

I was wondering how much gear oil an 8.75 holds. Also what is everyone using, brand, weight, synthetic, additives, etc. Thanks

Mobil 1 gear lube & a bottle of either Lucas or GM friction-modifier. HTH

2.5-3 quarts, I run 85-140 val. I don't run any additives, I have a spool.

85-140. You only need the friction modifier if you're running the clutch-type sure grip.

Have three quarts ready, and fill it until it's just below the fill hole.
