This doesn't seem to match any of the widths on the chart that is floating around here. Anyone have any idea what it could have been out of originally? The perches are 43 on center, and I was under the impression that it was from a 70 Dart.:scratch:

52 5/8 is correct.
That POS chart needs to be removed or corrected. More than a few have shortened a rear to that 51.40 size and been surprised!.

Most info I've seen on measurements for an A-body 8 3/4 is 52 1/2 to 52 5/8. I've never heard 51.40.

Don't user that chart I posted, it's worth less than the paper it's printed on.
Use the other link for 8.75 lengths. It's correct and even has the breakdown of 62-70 b body rears.... they are different. According to the POS chart, they are the same.... WRONG!
