I'm doing a big block swap from a 318 to a 383 next week in my 1972 Dart, but I have the crappy axle. I think it is a 7.25. I'd like an 8.75, but will settle for an 8.25. I plan to build the 383 later for more power.

The junk yards don't have anything and CL is empty.

I live in Coeur D'Alene, ID. Thanks!

If you are planning to go to the large bolt pattern in the future use a diff from a 66 coronet its about two inches wider. Weld new spring perches in the correct location and and just like that your duster has a much better stance. Use wheel with a 5 inch backspace and stuff in those big tires.
