Having just asked questions about 7-1/4" bearings, I am also considering the 8" Ford axle swap, but don't know what Ford donor cars to search for. Want the rear to be as close a fit to my original 7-1/4" as possible. 60's Mustangs? Early 70's Fords? Anyone know? And is there anything specific to know about this swap?
