I have an 833 aluminum main body for sale with a cast date of 4-7-77.

Asking $60 + insured shipping from southwest suburbs of Chicago.

could the aluminum case be used as a replacement for the cast iron one ?

I just pulled the 4 speed
from a 70 dart with a broken upper left bolt position.( to the bell housing)
has the smaller front bearing

If you are using the stock bellhousing, you would have to custom machine the front bearing retainer since it should be a 308 front bearing. Not something I would do. Also since it is an OD main housing I'd have the countershaft bores bushed so they would not be "floating" .
