Hey fellas, been playing around a lot lately trying to determine a way to use magnum injection, yet still use my 833. So starting from the top of my current idea, what size flywheel is used in say a Ramcharger. Looked it up on Rockauto, the only clue I got, was it used an 11' clutch. Would that be a 143 tooth flywheel? If so, why couldn't I use the Ramcharger bellhousing?
Thanks

don't know. if the bell was for a "truk" 4 speed and not the A833 OD trans you the 833 prolly won't bolt up

the ones with larger flywheel prolly won't fit a pass car body. ya havta match the flywheel to the bell= larger wheel than car

Believe I had the 11" behind the 360 in my '77 Ramcharger. Guessing 143 teeth. I know there are BB housings that accept the 11" and 833 combo not sure about SB though.

Never had to change that clutch by the way! 143K miles, tow, flat tow, and snow plow. It just rusted and ate headers!

Trucks use the 143 tooth flywheel/11" clutch set up. The truck bellhousing wont bolt up to an 833 transmission, the bolt holes aren't even close and there isn't meat to drill and tap new ones.
