My mechanic called Thurs. and said he thinks the computer is the problem. It was not sensing berometric pressure apparently. So I went to Pulla Part and ghrabbed one and bingo! All is well again.

Thanks to all of you on all your advice on this. This is the stuff that makes this a great site. Maybe this will help the other member who was having trouble.

I had a 1987 W100 4x4 rusty pice'o junk;
when the computer went bad, I bypassed it,
went to HEI Style external module mounted to the inner fender.

Then the fuel line out of the fuel tank got rusty, and along came
Cash for Junkers.... I put a 2 gal gas can under the hood,
so it would run... See Ya.....I miss the snow plow, but not the Rusty truck.
