I have a 9.25 Rear Axle (12 bolt) with a 3.55 ratio open rear axle for sale. It came off my 98 Ram Van 1500 because the ring and pinion were houling. I swapped it out with one from a local junkyard because I didn't have the time or knowledge to rebuild it myself. I swapped over all the brake parts onto the "new" rear, but have what came off the "new" rear in a box so you have a starting point - if you want them. The junkyard said the rear came off a 98 van, but a lot of the brake parts were different - wheel cylinders, and some of the metal parts to make the parking brake work as well as where the vent was located. It's ready to be re-built to your spec's. I'm asking $200 plus shipping, but would prefer local pickup. I'm not sure how to wrap/pack and ship.
I found out the hard way that the van rear axle's are different than the ram pickups - the spring perches (closer to the outside of the axle) as well as the shock perches (both are on the front of the axle tubes, not one in front and one in the rear) are in different locations between the two.
