904-2.74 first ?

I have an 85 Dippy 904 with a lock-up transmission. It is my understanding that this tranny has the low gear set-up.

What other years and vehicles have the low gear set? I have two 79 V8 transmissions which ratio are those?

Some 1980 904s did, and all 1981 and up V8 and Slant six 904s had 'low gear sets' in them.

OK. It looks like I missed it by a year.

Wasn't there a an HD 904 called a 999 that was used behind 360's or something? I know Jeep used one.

I thought there was a 2.74 non-lock-up transmission available.
