I'm doing a 7 1/4 swap to a 81/4 and I was going to transfer the brake fluid.lines that came off the older one to cut down on cost and it almost seems like the threads might be striped ..I'm looking for a replacement part or is there another route to go...I need this part ASAP....

Man brake lines are cheap. That is one place I wouldn't compromise. I would replace the lines on the rear and the rubber supply line. You should be able to pick them up at NAPA for under 25 bucks. I think the one I just did, the rubber line was 11 or 12 dollars, and the steel lines were 6 or 8 bucks. My 2 cents.

You might have to get the rubber line off of Ebay. None of my local parts stores had one.
We had to research it a little, but NAPA had one, I think they had to order it in for me.
