I’m rebuilding my 904 transmission and I’m using the a998 internals with the 5 clutch drum. Iv been running this transmission for several years but decided to tear it apart to inspect and rebuild.
When I check clutch clearance with a wave snap ring installed do I check it in the high or low spot of the wave ring? When I checked between the pressure plate and the high spot of the wave ring, my clearence is correct. When I check between the low spot and plate my clearance is way too tight
