904 endplay on the loose side

I'm rebuilding the 904 in my Dart, and endplay on the input side is on the loose side of spec. Specifications directly out of the '73 FSM are .016-.059, and I'm at .046

Should I go ahead and tighten this up when I reassemble, and if so what to on moderate street build that I want to last a long time? Thanks.

Tighten it up while your there man. Get it so when you set her on the output shaft you've got .015 or so.
