More 727 questions oil feed holes

scroll down to the 11th and 12th post to see pictures of a 727. Dimensions are different for 904 but theory is the same. Drill a 0.060” hole in the rear cooler line passage that intersects the center of the over running clutch inner race contact patch. The four rear support bolts and support must be removed to drill. Carefully measure the intersection point. Hope that helps. John

The hole is in a slightly different location from the 727 modification. I drill a 1/8" diameter hole 1/2" from the edge of the output shaft hole, in the cooler line channel. 727 is 3/4".

Do you want that hole centered on the inner race? or on the rollers?

Looks like there are different philosophies on where to put the hole (rollers vs. inner race).
