904 seal and o-ring replacement

Can the seal or o-ring around the shaft on the top front driver's side of the trans be replaced easily? I think that is where my worst leak is coming from. I also will replace the neutral start switch o-ring if possible as well. Advice? Thanks in advance- JIM
 
If it is the input shaft lever then you may have to pop the seal out from the inside. I have the same leak (I think) on mine. i saw a tool a ways back that can be used to replace the seal, but there is not much room to work in there.

As far as the o ring on the NS switch, probably just as easy to replace the switch. That is what I did. The switch was like $10, and the O-ring is not listed anywhere for easy replacement.
 
Yeah, that is the tool i was referring to, but the area to work in is a real PITA. I might grab one up cuz I am tired of messin' up my parking spot :)
 
Thanks for the help and ebay link, it is one of my favorite places to shop! This is yet one more reason this is such a great site, I have learned so much from FABO.
