Hi everybody quick question here I have a 1975 Plymouth duster 318 with a 904 trans. I ordered a new transmission Mount from Mancini racing but when compared to the original I see this difference in bracket does anybody know what this is?

I am a dingus. I realized what this is for this bolts up to amount for the catalytic converter as a support. I think that might have been done by a muffler shop or something. As I can't find an original part for this setup

Transmission mount part number without catalytic converter for 1975 duster was 3642831 and with catalytic converter was 3817215. Aftermarket reproduction mounts are only available without catalytic converters. Someone has an original 3817215 on eBay. No need for it if you don't have a converter.

Wow impreasive show of knowledge and parts forensic. If I stick with the converter I'm probably just going to cut that part off and reweld it to the new part. Or just not running a cat at all lol.
