I have not found one yet, but I think I have decided to look for a 92' 360 or so motor for my Duster. What will I need to do to get this to work properly?
I assume in 92 it was fuel injected? How do I work around these things? Should the motor mounts and wiring be all the same??

Thanks!

search magnum motor swap, im sure there's been a bunch of threads on this... you can either switch the intake to a carb set up, or fab the computer and electrical. all depends on what you want to do. the wiring will be different. motor mounts may vary depending on what youre replacing. if youre switching out a 318, the trans will work but the flywheel/tourque convertor will need switching if youre running an auto trans. good luck!

I'm in the beginning of doing the same swap into my 73 Duster. Going to keep the EFI on mine. The engine is out of a 99 Durango, along with the complete wiring harness/ECU. Check out my thread 5.9 Magnum into 73 Duster. But I think all of the hard work will be worth it. Old Geezzer good luck

Damn, like looks like work. Thats one of the reasons why I didn't go with a Big Block.
I think I might have changed my mind! LOL!
Maybe I'll stick with the 70's 360... ?

Just a little tricky, with the mounts the same it sure helps. Think the fuel system will easy. The electrical system will have more downs than up,but my factory harness is so hacked, I'm just going to start over with new. There are others that have already done this and they love it.

Just roll up your sleeves and dig in. 8)
