340 cam won't work.If going carb,long tube headers,air gap manifold a nice start.Magnums have low tension valvesprings.If you decide on a cam change,regrind your core for 100 to 150.Can reuse lifters,call Hughes for valvespring/retainer combo 1102(drop in upgrade.).
 
You can run it, but you'd need longer pushrods and obviously flat tappet lifters. It seems a waste though as hydraulic roller is low maintenance and they make great power.
