For sale is my 99 ram 2500 with the 5.9 cummins.Truck is a quad cab short box SLT with power mirrors, locks with keyless entry, cruise and power drivers seat. sliding rear window.I purchased the truck last year and had intentions on keeping for a long time but having another kid and just bought a full 4 door. this is the only reason for the sale. Truck has 173,000 miles. Front suspension was done last fall/winter with new tie rods track bar and axle u joints just prior to me buying truck and new ball joints and alignment in dec 2010. Transfer case was rebuilt and new joints in front and rear driveshafts as well as new fluids in the axles. Trans was replaced in 2006 by previous owner and has about 35,000 miles on it. shifts perfectly. axles are dana 60 and 70 with 4.10's and a limited slip. Batteries were replaced in dec 2010 as well as the alternator, Add ons are exhaust 3" downpipe to 4" with turbo muffler and stainless 5" tip, 100 hp DDP injectors, 150hp H.O VP44 pump, FASS 150 G lift pump(extra filters included), 1/2" drawstraw in fuel tank, BHAF cold air system, Smarty SO3 programmer (never set higher than level 3) Autometer triple pod and steering column pod with fuel pressure, boost ,pyro and trans temp gauges, Skyjacker shocks and steering dampner, Tuff country ladder bars. New pads in the front last winter and rear shoes and hardware kits too. Interior is clean and non smoker. no cracks in the dash and all plastic overhead console accesories are in good working order. Body is nice with new paint in april including new texas drivers door ,hood, tailgate ,front and rear bumpers, also added fender flares, polished stainless nerf bars, vent visors and bug deflector, 3rd generation badging and 01 power heated tow mirrors. Truck has factory chrome 16" wheels with 2457516 tires that have between 6 and 8/32nds on them. truck was never a plow truck until last year and plowed my driveway only and at best 10/15 times, plow DOES NOT come with the truck but will sell with or without frame on it. Truck is well maintained and never abused or off road all ad ons were to increase fuel mileage. I also add 2cyl oil and power service at every fill up. I have reciepts and documentation for seventeen thousand or so, lots more pics available upon request $14,000 or best REASONABLE offer, would consider removing tonneau and smarty for a better price. I'm located 45 minutes south of buffalo in western NY zip 14136

Reduced $12,500 but open to offers I know im not getting my money out of this truck but not giving it away either, Smarty and tonneau are NOT part of the deal any longer. nice truck for the money!

You might want to check your area listings, your asking price is a bit high i went on yahoo autos and found several for less with less miles. Not trying to rain on your parade but you may have it awhile in this economy. Good luck with the sale.

I don't think your asking price is too high. I see dealers selling them around here for more money with alot more miles than that. Thats Dodge,Ford, and Chevy with diesels.

Exactly, sure you can go buy one for $7500 but by the time you fix everything like I did you'll have 16,000 + in it anyway you can get one with modifications in this range or cheaper, but its usually owned by a kid who pounded it, or you can spend $20/$28,000 on a newer one or $50,000 on a brand new one. I put a ton of money in this one cause I planned to keep a long time but it didnt work out that way, for whats done I think my asking price is a fair place to start. Someone is gonna get a nice truck for a good price. I'm not strapped so I'll wait for that right person. I just thought i'd post it here in case someone was looking for a reasonable way to get into a diesel that they could haul there old mopar around with.

Have you tried listing it in one of the diesel websites like Cumminsforums,Competition Diesel or TDR.

Yeah its on a couple different sites, I 've had some interest but nothing solid yet. Just thought I'd try here too.
