Hi guys,
I've got a 750cfm holley and a torker 440 manifold.
I installed my repro stock style throttle cable but I can't get full throttle, it's only opening about half way with the pedal to the floor. I've cut the bracket and gave it some more length and positioned the bracket forward, and back, tac welding it in place, but I'm still getting the same results.
The cable looks long enough to get the job done but it doesn't seem that I have enough travel on the pedal pivot from inside the car to bring the cable back far enough for full throttle?? Any suggestions

Maybe you need to attach the throttle cable to the carb such that the throttle cable is closer to the throttle shaft itself. That will shorten the lever arm allowing for more rotational travel with the same length of pull.

I had to heat up and bend the rod the pedal pushes on. Put more angle in it for more travel before the pedal bottoms out. I run a dominator so moving the cable closer to the pivot is not an option, not with the built in return springs those have.
