a-body 8 3/4 length?

hey i picked up a 8 3/4 rearend out of a 66 Dodge A100 van what length does it have to be shortenend to fit a 72 Plymouth Duster?

A-body Width Will Be 52 3/8'' From Axle Flange To Axle Flange....this Is The Housing With No Backing Plates Or Axles Installed.....

Throw that chart away. IT'S WRONG!

Flange to Flange an A body 8.75 is 52 5/8"

k thanks everybody, hey does anybody know the length from leaf spring centerline to leaf spring centerline? any other measurements i need to know before i send this rearend out to get shortend?
P.S. anybody know of a good person to send a rearend to in the bay area?

Spring perch center to center is correct on the chart 43"

Some say 43.09". I put them at 43".
